A Jacket Full of Ruffles and Flowered Bunny Ears : Seth Apter Inspired Mini Album

Recently, I completed my daughter’s spring coat just in time for the slightly warmer temperatures. I was afraid the wool would be too warm but it is the perfect weight for chili weather. The beautiful green wool I used was gifted to me by my aunt and it instantly screamed bunny ears  when I saw it. I used the Clementine Jacket pattern with a modified hood and bunny ears. I have to admit that the ears are my favorite part. Even with the hood down my daughter looks adorable from the back with those ears hanging down. I even got a chance to try out my new KAM snaps. I don’t mind button holes but snaps certainly save time.

This was my first attempt at outerwear and it was not as hard as I thought. The worst part was turning it inside out through one of the tiny arm holes and I was praying that it wouldn’t rip.

Creating the Pages

My Seth Apter Inspired Journal is almost complete. These pages were made using stained book paper, tissue paper, Seth Apter Stamps and Stencils. I also used PaperArtsy Fresco Finish Paints to add color.

Thanks for looking,

Kate
