A Little Asian Box
I made this box using some distress stains and Asian dictionary paper.
A few dominoes, lillies, cherry blossoms and some embellishments I made.
Here are the sides. I distressed some paper, stamped a sentiment and added painted bamboo sticks to create scrolls.
Thank you for stopping by today. Have a great weekend.

Looks great! Kate, are you a nurse? I recognize the little bottles…like ones I got from the hospital to make Bottles of Hope.
That is amazing. I could get completely lost in all the detail and little objects. Wow!
I like the cherry blossom influence in this piece, makes it so pretty in this colour scheme and all those wonderful little bits ‘n’ pieces make it all such a delight.

Kate this is truly wonderful – one of the best creations I have ever seen. Where in the world did you come up with all these goodies and how did you make your little box. I would love to see a tutorial!! I adore this box of dreamy oriental goodies!

Very very awesome and so beautiful for sure! I love all the things inside. I’d love to see it in person.
Kate, your altered Asian box is gorgeous! Love the pink colors and all the layers! What a treasure! Enjoy the week!
Absolutely enchanting, Kate – so many amazing details. I completely love all your distressed oriental papers, they look so fragile and full of history. Beautiful treasures, and the cherry blossom throughout – beautifully done!
