A Year In Review

I’ve decided to share a few of my favorite projects from though out the year. As the year is drawing to a close, I am busy with family and the holidays and I thought this would be the perfect way to finish the year. I will be taking a blogging break until the new year. Merry Christmas!!

This is one of my favorite pages from my daughter’s art journal. It is still a work in progress but I have it on hold for a while due to lack of time.

My mermaid journal was inspired by my love of mermaids. This is the only page in my mermaid art journal that I drew and painted.

Art Journal covers are one of my favorite things to create. That is probably why I have a whole basket of them waiting to be filled. This one is tribal inspired and I love that it is full of pattern and color.

This was the first layout in my Tim Holtz inspired art journal

Mail Art from a recycled envelope

My first Gond Painting and I think I am hooked on this form of  Indian Folk Art.  As you can tell, color and pattern are my weakness.

I have made an awful lot of postcard art this year as they can be very addicting. I love that they take a small amounts of time to complete. And I can layer the heck out of it.

Until next year,
