Bartlett Pear with a Side of Tub: A Couch Adventure
Couch Talk
Guess what?! Our bathroom is now functioning! I really want to show you before and after photos but I will have to work on collaging them together. We still have a fair amount of work left as we still need a window, a door and overhead lighting. Also, we need decor, but that comes over time. So I will show you what we have right now.
Here is the view from the doorway. Obviously, we need doors and hardware on the cabinet.
Our soaking tub, which I already tried out!
Our Shower
I’ll show you more as we make progress. But guess what? I have my bathroom back!!! It is very exciting. We were SO pleased with all of the craftsman that worked on the project as they were quite talented.

I am over at the PaperArtsy blog sharing my Mason Jar project. It is a fun idea for anyone that paints or just wants to decorate all those glass jars in the cabinet. I hope you will have a look HERE.
Tea Day
I am joining the T day ladies, hosted by Elizabeth and Bleubeard. Today, in the mail I received this Harney and Sons Heirloom Bartlett Pear Loose Tea. I couldn’t wait so I had a taste. Pear is mild in flavor so that combined with the white tea was not what I was expecting. Tomorrow will be the real test as I make my 4 quart pot of tea to drink throughout the day. I let you know what I think.
Happy Tea Day,
Kate
Your bathroom is looking good! Glad it is mostly finished. Now relax and enjoy! Happy T Day, hugs, Valerie
Wow, your bathroom is really making great progress!.
LOL. When we moved in here first thing we did was to get rid of the bathroom-door as it just ate up space. (No worries, toilet is an extra room and that door we left in place). Happy T-day, easy with that choice!
Your new bath is lovely, Those mirrors have a Moroccan feel to me. And your soaking tub looks wonderful, too. Nice and deep. And that shower is to die for.
Nice post at the Paper Artsy blog. I use all my mason jars, but many of mine aren’t colored and decorated like yours.
Your pear tea sounds yummy, yummy. Thanks for sharing your bath, your mason jar post, and your tea with us for T this Tuesday, Kate.
I LOVE those mirrors!!! Wow, just wow! The rest of the bathroom looks great, too. I’m glad you have a functioning room again. And I like what you did with the mason jars. Fun idea. Happy T-Day!
Wow, your bathroom is looking amazing! I love those mirrors and tiles, I bet you are so pleased with it 😀. The tea sounds yummy too, perfect for this time of year! Happy T Day wishes! Hugs, Jo x
Wow, your bathroom is amazing. I want that shower. Mine is small , cramped and old. And I love your idea to make paint tags using the paint tube image. Nice post and nice mason jar too. You have been a busy lady Kate. Hope all is well and happy T day. Hugs-Erika
Oh your new bathroom is heavenly looking!! I wouldn’t want to come out:):)
Took a look at your project-I love the paint tube tags especially! Enjoy your new tea, and happy T day!
Wowowow you bathroom is gorgeous. I would give just about anything for that tub. LOL Enjoy your day.
I love those mirrors! That tub is calling me 🙂 I love a good long soak. Your shower is _huge_. Nice! Happy T Tuesday
I think I commented on those mirrors when you showed them early on in the renovation. They look stunning on the wall! I love the soaking tub. I’m sure you enjoyed that good soak after the long wait. The shower stall is gorgeous. No wonder you’re pleased.
I love the Mason jar project you did for Paper Artsy. I love the paint swatch idea!
Happy T-Day! Stay safe and stay well. Hugs, Eileen

The bathroom is gorgeous. I had a peek at your project and really like the paint tube swatches. Very clever. Happy T Day.
Renovations are always so traumatic! I’m happy for you that your functionality is back and the rest should be less challenging.
be well… mae at maefood.blogspot.com
Your bathroom is stunning! Such beautiful tiles! I love the Moroccan style his and her wash basins with the beautiful mirrors. The shower looks great. I have a similar shower head as our water pressure is high and it works very well. As for the soaking bath…bliss!
I looked at your Paperartsy project and it’s such a good idea to paint the stamped tubes with the colours that you own. (and then hang them on the jar). Very lovely.
I hope your pear tea comes up to expectation.
Happy T-Day,
Hugs,
Lisca
Your bathroom looks wonderful – love your colour choices! I haven’t caught up with Paper Artsy yet but will be doing so! The tea sounds tasty, I do love pears but have an intolerance to tea so wouldn’t be tempted! Belated Happy Tea Day, Chrisxx
