Dress Up The Dolls: PaperArsty Guest Post
Paper Doll Talk
I am sharing a sneak peek of my art journal layout that was over at the PaperArtsy blog Saturday. I know, I am a bit late. But I have a good reason. The theme is paper dolls which happens to be a favorite of mine. Who doesn’t like to dress up dolls them up and accessorize them?
When I was younger, I mostly had paper dolls that came printed in books. I had a book of Shirley Temple (my favorite actress), Scarlett O’Hara, Jackie Kennedy, Queen Elizabeth and Hilary Clinton (First Lady at the time). At one point I tried to make my own. I still have it, if only to laugh at how awful it looks.
New Website
I wanted to give all you faithful readers a big thank thank you for following me! In case you didn’t notice this is my new website! And this is the reason I am behind in posting. I can’t believe how long it takes to get a site up and running, I am still tweaking my look and love that I have the ability to customize. Maybe I will even add a shop in the future. So many possibilities! So don’t forget to bookmark the new site and subscribe if you haven’t already. Subscribers from my old site are not transferred so please subscribe again.
Tea Day
I am linking to Tea Tuesday over at Elizabeth and Bleubeard‘s. As you can see I am sharing my pretty tea cup and matching lunch plate from my Teapot Collection.
Kate

Happy T Day Kathy
Beautiful art, as always, have fun with the new blog site. Happy T Day, Valerie
What a beautiful spread over at Paper Artsy,, It’s always fun ti see you using teabags in your art, and those LP stamps really DO make lovely paper dolls.
Goodness, you have a TON of beautiful teapots and tea cups. I could never pick one, but I do like the one with the Queen’s face on it., and the cast iron one with the teacups and saucers that look like a lily pad,. Thanks for sharing your art and your teapots (and tea) with us for T this Tuesday, BTW, I have exactly the same as that Jasmine tea in a yellow tin.
I left you a comment and it seems to have disappeared in the ether-net.
Congrats on the new website!
Happy T-Day!
