I Am Roses January Challenge
Hello and Happy New Year! Today is my first post with the I Am Roses Design Team. The challenge is to use white flowers in your project. I chose a plain box that I covered with two coats of gesso. I added my various sized white flowers up the side of my box. I embellished the top with canvas, chipboard and metal pieces. I used a stencil and gel medium to add some texture.
I sprayed with inks and paints to add a few splashes of color. And lots of gesso!
Don’t forget to join in the challenge. There is a great prize of flowers to be had!
Check out the Challenge Here and all of the Design Team’s projects.

This is absolutely lovely, Kate – the shabby weathered background is just gorgeous, and the inky flowers look amazing – a wonderful debut make!
