Mixed Media Re-purposed Hutch Door For Stencil Girl
Sneak Peek
I am over at the Stencil Girl Blog today sharing a project that I had so much fun making! I admit, during the process of brain storming an idea I struggled up until the last minute. Not because the stencils were not inspiring but because they were so beautiful! The detail on these stencils is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G and I was so afraid I was not going to show their potential.
Stencil Girl was so generous and sent me three stencils to play with for this project. The stencils I used are as follows:
Lacy Lotus Repeat Stencil
Pilgrimage to India Stencil
Eye Lattice Stencil
Hop over and have a look HERE.
Thanks for stopping by today!

Fabulous project Kate. Love how you have reused the little door. The detail is amazing.
Flo 🙂
Love what you have done with the door Kate! Did it go back on the hoosier or do you have this hanging somewhere? Excellent upcycle! Very inspiring!

Thank you Jackie! We remodeled one of our bathrooms and I made it to hang over the toilet. The hoosier was all warped from moisture so I saved some of the doors for projects. I am thinking I will have to make more since this one was so fun!
Have a great weekend,
Kate
Love how you have upcycled the door using those beautiful stencils and your unique artistic talent – a wonderful project Kate! Have a great weekend, hugs, Valerie
A wonderful alteration Kate ! AMAZING!
It is a fabulous recycled project. Wonderful texture, the new stencils looked great.

This sneak peak looked very promising! I was very busy these past two weeks, with my trip to Crete and with work and granddaughter, but I love your work and think your dreamcatcher page is wonderful!
I looked at it over there and WOW! So pretty composition, and I loved the stencils too. Amazing idea bringing all those elements.
This recycled project is out of this world. I am super impressed. I love what you did with the stencils, too. So lucky you got the opportunity to use them.
